Two unique COVID-19 conditions, no unique recovered conditions Friday – KTUU.com


ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – The Department of Effectively being and Social Services is reporting two unique conditions of COVID-19 on Friday. The conditions had been reported in Nome and Douglas, a team inner the Metropolis and Borough of Juneau.

The Norton Sound Effectively being Company reported the Nome case on Thursday and this unique case brings Nome’s total conditions to two.

Of the conditions, one is broken-down 10-19 and the other 20-29. One is feminine and the other is male. There had been no unique recoveries of the virus, preserving the total recoveries for the speak at 356.

DHSS says there had been no unique deaths or hospitalizations and the speak has performed 41,446 tests.

“As we head into the Memorial Day weekend and Alaska enters phases 3 and 4 of the Reopening Alaska Responsibly Concept, I wish to remind Alaskans that the virus is peaceable here and wait on everyone to proceed with the non-public protective measures we’ve been practicing for months,” stated DHSS Commissioner Adam Crum in a ready statement.
